Complex PTSD Symptoms Test
An ITQ-based questionnaire that helps you reflect on post-traumatic symptoms and difficulties with emotion regulation, self-concept and relationships. It takes about 6 minutes to complete.
Instructions
As you answer, think about the experience that troubles you most at present. The first nine questions concern reactions during the past month. The next nine concern how you typically feel, think about yourself and relate to others.
For each statement, choose an answer from “Not at all” to “Extremely”. If completing the questionnaire becomes distressing, you can pause and return later.
Important: This result shows only the combined burden of the difficulties you report. It does not apply the official ITQ algorithm and cannot identify PTSD or complex PTSD.

Instrument and source information

The sum shown on this ITQ-based page is only a numerical summary, not a validated severity measure or official ITQ classification. Official ITQ scoring assesses symptom clusters and functional impairment separately. A qualified professional can interpret your context.
Published cutoffs do not validate edited questions, translations or added score bands. Use them as informational context. If you are concerned, seek a professional assessment regardless of your score.
This test is for information only and does not replace a professional diagnosis. Official ITQ interpretation requires assessment of separate symptom clusters and functional impairment, which this module does not perform. A trauma-informed professional can provide a full assessment.
Common questions
Can this questionnaire diagnose a condition?
No. It is a snapshot based on how you report feeling at this time. It cannot confirm or rule out a condition.
Do I need an email, and how long is my result kept?
No. You can see your result without an account or email. Email is optional, for one requested report. The waitlist has a separate checkbox, unchecked by default. Private access lasts 30 days. Expired results are deleted from the active database within one day of expiry. Backups have separate retention periods described in the privacy policy.
What can I do next?
Choose a small step that suits you. If you are worried, speak with a qualified professional regardless of your score. Related questionnaires are optional and do not provide diagnoses.
