Regensburg Insomnia Scale (RIS)
The 10-item RIS about sleep and cognitive, emotional and behavioural aspects of insomnia over the last four weeks.
Instructions
Please rate the following questions for the last four weeks. For the first two, select the range that best describes your usual time to fall asleep and sleep duration. For the remaining statements, indicate how often each occurrence happens.
Answer all 10 questions. The result sums the 0–4 responses and ranges from 0 to 40.
Important: The RIS is a screening scale and is not a diagnostic tool for insomnia.
All the tests and self-help tools are in the HelpClinic app.
