About us

Everyday mental health support β€” before therapy and between sessions. We built HelpClinic to lower the first step toward help and make every next one clear.

Self-help first, human care when needed β€” all in one place, available 24/7. HelpClinic is not an AI therapist; it is a safety-first guide that walks you from your first moments to the right kind of support.

About us

Psychologists and builders on one team you can trust

HelpClinic is built together by psychologists and a technology team β€” with the Medical University of Lodz as our academic partner. Every self-therapy tool rests on evidence-based methods: CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, breathing and micro-steps. This is not an AI therapist β€” it is a safety-first guide that helps you understand your needs first, then hands you tools for today.

We build trust on proven foundations: evidence-based methods (CBT, DBT, ACT) and a scientific collaboration with the Medical University of Lodz. According to WHO, 1 in 6 people in the European Region lives with a mental health condition. Between two weekly sessions, there are 167 hours when support may still be needed. We help bridge that time together with qualified psychologists and online psychotherapists.

Our mission is to lower the first step toward mental health support.

Self-help first, a human when needed β€” everyday support, before therapy and between sessions.

Three barriers usually hold back the first step: you do not know where to start, regular therapy can be too expensive, and you need support today, not in a month. HelpClinic answers each of them head-on. You begin with a short questionnaire that helps name what you are going through. Then you get one clear step for now β€” no pressure, no judgement.

First we help you understand what you feel. Then we hand you self-therapy tools and small everyday routines β€” breathing, grounding, a mood journal. And when that is not enough, we connect you with a certified therapist. This is not an AI therapist, but a safety-first guide: it walks with you on your terms, at your pace, with full care for your privacy.

What our early users say

Sophie

Started with small habits

"I did not start with big changes, just one thing a day β€” two minutes of breathing each morning. A few weeks on, it is a small habit I lean on when days get harder. HelpClinic never asks me to do everything at once; it suggests one step for today."

Using it for six months

"The worst moments used to hit at three in the morning, when anxiety would not let me sleep. Instead of scrolling my phone, I now open a short breathing exercise and the 5-4-3-2-1 grounding. The tension does not vanish at once, but I have something to do with it β€” and I know I can go further in the morning."

Keeps a mood journal

"For years I could not name what I was feeling. A mood journal sounded trivial β€” until I started writing two lines every evening. After a month I could see what was really weighing on me, and for the first time I could talk about it calmly."
