PCL-5 PTSD Symptoms Test
The 20-item PCL-5 questionnaire about symptoms that can occur after a very stressful experience. Answers refer to the past month.
Instructions
Below is a list of problems that people sometimes have in response to a very stressful experience. Keeping your worst event in mind, please read each problem carefully and indicate how much you have been bothered by it in the past month.
Select one answer from βNot at allβ (0) to βExtremelyβ (4). If completing the questionnaire becomes distressing, you can pause and return later.
Important: The PCL-5 is a screening measure. Your score is not a PTSD diagnosis and should be interpreted by a qualified professional.

This test is for information only and does not replace a professional diagnosis. A score of 33 is the conservative end of the VA-published 31β33 screening range, but a score above or below it neither confirms nor rules out PTSD. PCL-5 results should be interpreted by a qualified professional.
