Occupational Burnout Test
A short screening questionnaire covering the three dimensions of occupational burnout: exhaustion, mental distance from work and sense of efficacy. It takes about 3 minutes to complete.
Instructions
This test will help you check whether the way you have been feeling about work may point to a risk of burnout. As you answer, think about your work over the past few months.
Answer nine short questions to get a result that you can discuss with a psychologist or psychotherapist.
Important: This test does not replace professional diagnosis. Burnout relates to the occupational context β if you experience similar difficulties outside work as well, it is all the more worth consulting a specialist.
All the tests and self-help tools are in the HelpClinic app.

This test is for information only and does not replace a professional diagnosis. According to the WHO, burnout is a work-related phenomenon, not an illness β but its symptoms can co-occur with, for example, depression or anxiety disorders. Whatever your result, if the difficulties persist, we recommend consulting a psychologist or psychiatrist.
